Effective: September 7, 2024
This policy describes how StructCalc handles information in the mobile app, with an emphasis on local on-device storage and optional third-party purchase processing.
StructCalc is designed to keep your project, calculation, and preference data on your device whenever possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be stored locally in the app, what third-party services are involved when you use optional paid features, and the choices you have.
StructCalc stores user-created content locally on your device. This may include calculation history, projects, estimates, project captures such as notes, links, and photos you choose to attach, plus app preferences like theme, currency, measurement settings, onboarding state, and paywall display state.
StructCalc does not currently require account creation, and your project and calculation data is not uploaded to StructCalc-managed servers by the app's current mobile implementation.
If you choose to unlock paid features, purchase processing and entitlement management are handled by third-party services including RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play. Those providers may process information such as transaction records, app user identifiers, device identifiers, country, and technical data needed to validate purchases and restore access.
StructCalc does not receive or store your full payment card details. Your purchase is subject to the privacy practices and terms of the relevant platform and payment provider.
Some optional features let you pick photos from your library or import files such as CSV or spreadsheet documents. StructCalc only accesses those items when you explicitly choose to use those features.
Imported files and selected photos are used to support the feature you requested and remain on your device unless you separately share them through another app or platform.
The current version of StructCalc does not provide user accounts and does not include third-party advertising SDKs in the mobile app. StructCalc does not sell your personal information.
Because most app data is stored locally, you can typically remove it by deleting projects, captures, or preferences inside the app, or by uninstalling the app from your device. Purchase records may continue to be retained by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other platform providers according to their own policies.
If you reinstall the app, locally stored data that was deleted with the app may no longer be recoverable, while eligible premium purchases may be restorable through the relevant app store account.
StructCalc is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service connected to the app, contact us and we will do our best to help direct you to the appropriate provider or next step.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. When we do, we will update the effective date shown in the app.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact StructCalc at [email protected].
